PC Parts Trader keeps selling PC parts, computers, and hardware simple and affordable. There are no listing fees to create a standard listing. Sellers pay a Seller Final Fee only when an item successfully sells.
The Seller Final Fee is calculated using a tiered fee structure based on the final Sale Price. The first $2,500.00 of the Sale Price is charged at 5.00%, and any portion of the Sale Price over $2,500.00 is charged at the reduced rate of 2.00%.
Seller Final Fee
The Seller Final Fee is a marketplace fee charged to the Seller only after a successful sale on PC Parts Trader.
The Seller Final Fee applies to:
- Live Online Auction sales
- Buy Now sales
- Accepted Make Offer transactions
The Seller Final Fee is calculated in tiers:
- First $2,500.00 of the Sale Price: 5.00%
- Any portion of the Sale Price over $2,500.00: 2.00%
For sales over $2,500.00, the fees from each tier are calculated separately and then added together to determine the total Seller Final Fee.
You only pay a Seller Final Fee when your item successfully sells.
Credit Card Required for Sellers
To create listings and sell on PC Parts Trader, Sellers must have a valid credit card on file.
Your credit card is only charged for applicable Seller Final Fees and any optional listing upgrades you choose to purchase. There is no charge simply to create or maintain a standard listing.
PC Parts Trader uses Stripe to securely store and process your credit card information. Your full credit card details are not stored by PC Parts Trader and cannot be viewed by PC Parts Trader, Buyers or other users.

How the Seller Final Fee Works
There is no cost to create a standard listing on PC Parts Trader. When your PC part, computer component, desktop, laptop, workstation, server, networking equipment, or other eligible computer hardware sells through a Live Online Auction, Buy Now purchase, or accepted Make Offer transaction, the Seller Final Fee is calculated based on the final Sale Price.
For Sale Prices of $2,500.00 or less, the Seller Final Fee is 5.00% of the Sale Price.
For Sale Prices over $2,500.00, the Seller Final Fee is calculated using two tiers:
- 5.00% on the first $2,500.00 of the Sale Price; plus
- 2.00% on the portion of the Sale Price over $2,500.00.
The fees from each tier are then added together to determine the total Seller Final Fee.
You only pay the Seller Final Fee when you successfully make a sale.

* "Seller Keeps" represents the Sale Price minus the PC Parts Trader Seller Final Fee and does not include payment processing fees, shipping costs, taxes, or other third-party fees that may apply.
Lower Fees on Higher-Value Sales
Our tiered Seller Final Fee is designed to make PC Parts Trader especially competitive for higher-value computer hardware.
Once the Sale Price exceeds $2,500.00, only the portion above $2,500.00 is charged at the reduced 2.00% rate. The first $2,500.00 remains subject to the standard 5.00% rate.
For example, on a $5,000 sale, the Seller Final Fee is $175.00. On a $10,000 sale, the Seller Final Fee is $275.00.
This means the effective marketplace fee percentage becomes progressively lower as the Sale Price increases.
No Buyer Fees
PC Parts Trader does not charge Buyers a marketplace fee. Buyers pay the agreed purchase price, along with any applicable shipping, delivery, or other listing-related charges, directly to the Seller.
Optional Listing Upgrades
Optional listing upgrades are available to help Sellers increase the visibility of their listings. These upgrades are completely optional and are charged separately from the Seller Final Fee.
